Vila Foia Bed & Breakfast
Our guesthouse is situated in an old cork-oak forest in the rural mountain-scape of Monchique, only 35 minutes away from the magnificent beaches of the Atlantic. An intimate place to rest in nature, walk the many trails and enjoy the local gastronomy.
Vila Foia is a wonderful base from which to explore the region and come home to tranquility and privacy. Perfect for walking groups, training and strategy meetings and seminars, wellness workshops and family celebrations. The entire guesthouse can be booked for such events. Vila Foia has 11 rooms, all with private balconies and breath-taking views of the coast, a terraced garden and swimming pool. We serve a generous buffet breakfast each morning with locally-sourced, fresh produce.
VilaFoia was completed in the summer of 2009. The building respects local building esthetics and was built using mostly regionally-sourced and environmentally-friendy materials. It features granite from the local quarry, uses solar power for its heating and respects water efficiency practices.
