LGBT+ History Month 2024

LGBT+ History Month takes place in the UK over the month of February 2024. LGBT+ History Month is for everyone; whether you work in education, a museum, library or art gallery, a business, a service, are a member of a network/social group or an individual. It is celebrated every February across the UK, and was founded in 2004 by Schools OUT co-chairs, Paul Patrick & Professor Emeritus Sue Sanders. It was first celebrated in February 2005. Every year Schools OUT sets a different theme for LGBT+ History Month and provides free resources for education settings, businesses, services and organisations to help them celebrate and Usualise LGBT+ lives in their full diversity. A full list of events can be found on their website.

National Student Pride 2024

University of Westminster London

National Student Pride takes place from the 23rd to 25th February 2024. National Student Pride opens doors to LGBTQ+ young people – we are a not-for-profit organisation run by a committee of student volunteers and supported by a team of graduate volunteers and an experienced advisory board who help to strategically steer the organisation. Through this, National Student Pride helps young people to develop their skills and kick-start their careers with the UK’s largest LGBT+ Inclusive Careers Fair.
