Celebrating the local LGBTQ+ community - with drag queens, musicians, charities, community groups, food and drink, and more. We hope you'll join us for the return of Stockport Pride at Stockport's Historic Market Place, with Charities, Community Groups, Crafts, Drag Acts, Musicians, Food and Drink. PARADE: We will be meeting from 11:30am on Sunday in Stockport town centre outside Red Rock, on the pedestrianised area of Bridgefield Street nearest the bicycle racks and the street level disabled car park. At noon, we will be heading up Bridgefield Street, turn left across Suffragette Square, then we'll go across Prince's Street, up Arden Walk, through the glass doors into the covered section of Merseyway, turning left at WowComix through the centre of Merseyway, right onto Bridge Street, then up Bridge Street Brow, up to Stockport's Historic Market Place where we will join the Stockport Pride festivities. If Bridge Street Brow seems a bit steep, you can use the lift at Sports Direct, up to Stockport's Historic Market Place. The parade will be for walkers, wheelchair users and mobility scooters only. Other vehicles will not be permitted.
